Just my thoughts #0170

The Japanese restaurant “Hyakushokuya” doesn't hire passionate people. The first recruiter was someone who left out his resume. There are only three menus, and only 100 bowls are sold daily. It's simple, so you learn things in a week even if you're not an expert. Still, the average daily revenue is 130,000 yen. The book's title published by founder “Akemi Nakamura” is “Let's Reduce Sales.” Against performance-oriented management policies. They want reasonable management activities suitable for fractions without overdoing it. However, it was the best-selling company during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

There were three things that only kings could do—and they did them. Firstly, kings made the law. Secondly, kings were responsible for measuring and displaying time by seasonal divisions. The third is to determine the music scale. These three things have one thing in common: they set standards. The legislation is the foundation for order and dispute resolution in human society. Time measurements and indications are the standard for measuring the length of life in nature. The king sets the standard for music. Why? Music is a comprehensive collection of art, mathematics, and physics. Music is, in fact, a political act. It's incredibly complex. I find music the most challenging of all. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

In the USA, even in one country, the time difference between the west and the east is 3 hours. People thought that time was a natural thing. But it is not. It's very political. The time that man lives in a unit of minutes is too short. However, since the invention of the steam locomotive, the appearance of faster vehicles made crazy changes to the concept of time. The shift in distance made people realize what time was. Sandford Fleming, an engineer and inventor, asked to unify the time difference caused by long-distance transportation, but people rejected his request. If the boarding time were not fixed, the railroad would be useless. The history of the 24-hour clock was made only about 140 years ago. Even with the invention of high technology, if nothing is consensus, nothing benefits. - Joseph's "just my thoughts"
