Emotions : The human brain is mainly connected to emotion-related circuits rather than logical circuits involved in comparison, prediction, reasoning, and judgment. It’s believed that developing circuits for logic and reason is necessary for intelligence , but actually, human judgments and decisions are controlled by emotion-related circuits. Humans need a variety of emotions to think clearly and make well-informed decisions. Inspiration comes from emotions. To succeed in business and invest wisely, you must be emotionally resilient . Emotions need to be active to feel and respond to crises effectively. This is also why you should have abundant access to art . Emotions evolved to be advantageous for human survival. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Jesus taught, “If you got slapped your right cheek, turn the other cheek.” One of the actions that the Jewish Qumran community denied and forbade was “pointing with the left hand.” Violations of this rule brought sanctions from the community. To hit the right cheek means the opponent strikes with an unclean left or right backhand. This cheek slap is deliberately insulting and humiliating rather than merely a pain-inflicting action. Therefore, this teaching of Jesus, “turn the other cheek,” suggests not allowing oneself to be struck by the back of the hand and can signify not being helpless but being active in nonviolent resistance without seeking revenge or retaliation. Perhaps this teaching carries a frightening meaning.

The most important aspect of investing is managing risk. However, in most cases, risk management is interpreted and assessed in relation to past patterns. When asset prices fall, the perceived risk appears significant. That doesn’t imply there weren’t risks; investors simply didn’t recognize the risks that originally existed. The level of risk is almost identical whether the price of an asset goes up or down, but when prices decline, they tend to drop further because fear prevents us from purchasing more assets, leading us to retreat. It’s not that the risk has escalated. It is unwise to link risk with past patterns. There have been numerous exceptions in the world, and many beings on this planet have disappeared because they could not adapt. Did dinosaurs not become extinct on Earth ? Even the most delicious food in the world can only be enjoyed in front of me. No matter how great someone’s advice or ideas may be, you must confront them at a time when you can accept them to show genuine interest. There are countless wonderful things in this world, but they aren’t truly good unless they’re on my timeline. Even if I have a lot of money, it isn’t mine until I spend it. Only then does it become my money when I use it for myself, as there’s no satisfaction in not enjoying the benefits. Therefore, the timing depends on my situation.
